24 hours ago I was driving to Ewe'll Love It! thinking the damage probably wasn't as bad as the landlord described.....but it was way worse!
Ceiling tiles all over the floor, bins & bins of saturated wool, cotton, silk, bambooooo hoo hooo!
Between damage from above and flooding, we've lost about 1/3 of our inventory.
I don't have the heart to post pics yet.
We'll be open Monday with a zip seal cutting off the damaged section.
Just so you know I had no emotional outburst (more "Let's get to work") until a quick power outage ate the $30,000 I'd inventoried in the computer. Then I threw myself on the landlords floor, got up and went back at it.

ReplyDeleteI'm really sorry to hear this. Yet I see optimism in your writing and I can feel that you are a strong woman! My thoughts are with you, hope good things come out of all this challenge.
ReplyDeleteLet us know if you need a volunteer "bucket brigade" to help you move and sort things. Getting you up and going again would be the best reward for volunteering.
